Nothing says American culture like drivin’ a rod and listening to rock, a fact well known to Ed Roth and RatFinks.
Rock and Roll goes hand in hand with RatFinks and Hot Rodding. Ed Roth was a big fan of music, and even had a band at one point in time,
Mr. Gasser and the Weirdos.
The songs featured on these records told descriptive stories about the RatFink’s gang and their favorite pastimes like hot rodding and surfing. The general message intended was that being different is okay and being a Fink or a Weirdo was cool. It was a lesson some of us RatFinks never forgot.
Other well known RatFinks include Rob Zombie, who wrote a song entitled RatFinks, Suicide Tanks and Cannibal Girls.
